In the late 1970s, John and Harry Mariani, just over a year after the founding of Banfi in Montalcino, acquired the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone.
The holdings extend between the towns of Novi Ligure and Acqui, over an area of 124 acres, of which 114
are under vine.
