Overview

Beppe Marino winery was founded in 1972 in Santo Stefano Belbo, a town located between Langhe and
Monferrato and a typical production area for the famous Moscato d’Asti.
The family cultivates its 13 hectares of fine vineyards high up on the hills of Santo Stefano Belbo, Mango d’Alba and Castelnuovo Calcea, scattered among locations of great prestige for vine cultivation, that the wines now known and appreciated in Italy and abroad are born.

A long tradition accompanied by a deep passion unites Beppe Marino and his family to the rows in the hills and the charm of the winery.
Concrete signs underscore the company’s roots: a large farmstead, vineyards and a technologically perfect winery. In 2016 the winery moved production to the historic Monastery of the “Sisters of Moscato” in Santo Stefano Belbo, belonging to the Daughters of St. Joseph Congregation. Here the nuns have expertly produced mass wine for Eucharistic services for more than 100 years.

In 1906, a group of nuns moved to Santo Stefano Belbo, carrying on the production of “Moscato da Messa,” a sweet white wine needed by priests throughout Italy to officiate at liturgical services.
In 2016, Beppe Marino moved his winery inside this place full of charm and linked to the territory by a long tradition. A great combination for tastings in the spacious indoor garden, enhanced by plants and flowers that add to the mystical atmosphere of this place, an ideal starting point for tours to discover the Langhe and local traditions.
