The Luigi Vico Farm was officially born in 2016, the year that corresponds to Luigi’s first harvest, despite having origins dating back to 1694, according to the first information on the landholdings of the family of Luigi’s mother, originally from Serralunga d’Alba.
Today Luigi Vico’s viticultural reality counts 2.1 ha of vineyards in the Barolo area, grown organically, under certification, from which he obtains a limited production of Barolo from the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba and Barolo Prapò, vinified respecting only one imperative: to enhance the territory in which the Nebbiolo is best expressed.
On the side, Luigi Vico created a place dedicated to the curious and passionate wine tourist. Serralunga Casa Mia was created for those who want to have unique taste experiences, to pass on the practices of the ancient tradition implemented in the vineyard, the basis of material culture from the area, and to evoke authentic flavours, now unobtainable elsewhere.
