Overview

The history of the company dates back to 1911 when the first cellar was founded by Antonio Sperone senior in Turin, in the North west of Italy. His strong passion for wines was transmitted to his son Giacomo, to Giacomo’s sons Paolo and Antonio and today to Andrea and Francesca (Antonio’s son and daughter) who are carrying on the traditions and values of their Family, with enthusiasm and love for the wine industry.
The family trade has gradually turned into a modern organization and in 1982 the Sperone family acquired Tenute Neirano in Mombaruzzo (Asti): an ancient villa built in the 17th century, on the hills of Monferrato, surrounded by 30 hectars of vineyards, in the heart of the production of top wines of the Piedmont region.
