Overview

The story of Vinchio Vaglio started in 1959, when the cities of Vinchio and Vaglio Serra decided to cooperate to enhance the difficult and productive land that surrounded them.
That same year 19 vinegrowers of Vinchio and Vaglio Serra established the cooperative. Currently, the
cooperative numbers around 200 partners and manages more than 500 hectares of vineyards, mostly
devoted to Barbera.
One of the main goals of the cooperative is to show that cooperation can lead to a high-quality product. With its huge variety of vineyards and the experience they gained, Vinchio Vaglio now produces a variety of barberas.
